This year's Crabapple Blossom Festival presents the brilliant theme of “花开又相逢” which means "Blossom Bound: Where Bonds Blossom Anew”when Tianjin University opens the campus for public. Student parents, relatives, and public are welcome to visit Tianjin University. At the Open Day on both campuses of Tianjin University, there will be various activities such as exhibitions on Tianjin University’s Emerging Engineering Education, insights into the technological innovation of the earthquake engineering simulation research facility, high-level dialogues among academicians and scholars, open days for national key laboratories and multiple national/Tianjin science popularization bases, appreciation and experience of Chinese traditional culture, release ceremony and book fair for Tianjin University campus construction plans and catalogues, world chess champion lectures, Tianjin Women’s Volleyball Team campus visit, cultural performances by Chinese and international students and teachers, and carnival events by various clubs.
